I'm working on Christmas presents already. Since I have to pay a very high rate on my school loan 'til the end of the year, I've had to make some adjustments to my budget. Previously, I'd been saving about $15 a paycheck to be able to buy Christmas presents this year. However, since I have the cloud of nearly $500 hanging over my head every month, I've had to change that a$mount to $0. Instead, I use some of my fun/miscellaneous money to buy yarn. I'll use that yarn to knit matching knit and scarf sets for everyone who will be getting a gift for me this year. I guess I spoiled the surprise, but the good thing about this plan is that--unless the person is allergic to acryllic yarn, I should be able to make the sets for between $ 8-10 each, not including my time! That should work, yeah? Here is second scarf I knitted. :)
