Now I realize that not everyone will look at Ryan and think he is one of the cutest thing to ever walk--well, not quite that--he isn't walking yet!!--the planet. But I adore him and have since before I ever actually got to meet him. Anyway, one day his Gramma--my big sis--and I were talking on Skype and I--somehow. dunno how i did it--took these photos of him. Hope you enjoy his fabulosity!
I'm just taking pictures with my cell phone camera, y'all.
Well, I'm not a professional, by any means. I'm just someone who likes taking pictures, yeah? Before about 18DEC10, I was using my cell-phone to take pictures (3.1 mp). It did a pretty good job; however, for Christmas, I received a Kodak Easy Share which has 12 mp and take much nicer pictures. I'm saving this year, so that next Christmas I can buy myself a much better camera! :) I hope you enjoy my photos.

I love me some Pike! We had a fun little "photo-shoot" last Tuesday a.m. I had just arrived, Aurora and Kelly were working on school work and Gage and a friend were studying the Bible in his study. Pike and I decided a fun, giggly, good-time photo-shoot was just the thing we needed! I'll put all the other pictures in my other blog (though prolly not today.) Check back Wednesday cos they are really fun pictures! :)

I really love these kids. When Kelly had her daycare, I tried to spend some of every Tuesday off with them. I'd stop by the local library first and pick up a book or two. I'd read 'em some stories and--some weeks--we'd have little art lessons. One week, we learned about ladybugs and made little ladybug crafts. Another week, we learned about butterflies. We'd create our own little art lessons, sing songs about things and generally just have a great time. It is really difficult--if you are a person who likes recording the lovely little things in life--not to pick up a camera when you are around these kids. Sadly, Kelly doesn't have the daycare anymore, so I only get to see Aurora and Pike on Tuesdays now. But--with these lovely photos of these lovely children--I can re-visit our good times!

This year, we (The Whitehead/Pevetos and I) celebrated Easter on a Saturday. Doug, Alison and Lily drove over from Austin and all the local family showed up at Marilyn's house in the afternoon. We ate a great meal and had a lovely time. Strangely, I neglected to take very many pictures--which is unusual for me. The only one I managed to get was this one of Pop who was wearing a darlin' pink bow which belongs to his great-granddaughter, Lily Anna. Doesn't he look purty?
